Chris grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and attended Quince Orchard High School where he played lacrosse and football.
After high school, Chris attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he studied Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Management Science. He continued his athletic career at MIT as a 4-year Varsity letter winner on both the Lacrosse and Football teams.
While in school, Chris interned at a number of different places ranging from a 3D printing lab at MIT to a satellite manufacturing engineering position at Orbital ATK, an Aerospace manufacturer/ defense industry company. He found his passion for entrepreneurship while working at Kuvée, a direct to consumer wine service startup that built an IoT connected wine bottle that keeps an open container of wine fresh for 30 days.
To compliment his pursuit of a concentration in Management Engineering, Chris spent the summer before his senior year working as an analyst at Ridgetop Research, a primary research firm located in New York City.
Outside of Volition, Chris enjoys playing pickup sports.
