Geoff grew up in Sherborn, MA, as the middle child in his family with an older brother and a younger sister. He attended Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, where he ran track and played soccer. Following an early interest in startups, Geoff interned at a growing company, Oyo Sports, where he had the opportunity to work with the lead engineer in product development.
Staying true to his local roots, Geoff attended Harvard College where he pursued a degree in applied mathematics with a focus in computer science. Geoff became involved in the entrepreneurship community at school, joining Harvard Ventures to assist with the school’s first pre-venture accelerator and to connect aspiring students with founders in the Boston area. Through the people he met, Geoff learned about some of the challenges facing many young entrepreneurs and how having access to the right people and resources can be crucial for growing companies.
While at school, Geoff interned at Cota Capital, a venture capital firm in San Francisco that invests in both private and public technology companies at various financing stages. At Cota Capital, Geoff had the opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs from a variety of different industries and learned about the important role that investors play in providing portfolio companies with knowledge and expertise. During his final year at Harvard, Geoff interned at Glasswing Ventures, a venture capital firm in Boston that focuses on investing in innovative startups leveraging the power of artificial intelligence. Through his internships and interests, Geoff has been able to combine his technical background with his passion for investing.
Outside of the office, Geoff enjoys running, hiking, and playing soccer.
