Jack grew up in Wellesley, MA, the second of four children. He attended high school in Needham, MA, where he graduated St. Sebastian’s School. Jack took an early interest in finance during his time in high school engaging in the Finance Club and interning at Merrill Lynch's Private Client Retirement Services. Lacrosse also peaked Jack’s interest while at St. Sebastian’s and the sport led him to pursue the opportunity to continue his career at Dartmouth College. Dartmouth became an intersection of academics and family for Jack as his father, older brother, and younger brother matriculated to Dartmouth.
During his time in Hanover, Jack became actively involved in the Athletic Department’s leadership education initiatives. Jack’s deployed many of the lessons learned from his leadership education as a three time captain of the Varsity Lacrosse team at Dartmouth. Jack further utilized his position of leadership on the team to give back to the community in organizing team service outings to local homeless shelters.
Over his summer breaks, Jack pursued his interest in finance and technology investing. Jack interned at two Mid-Cap Growth Equity firms in Boston; first at North Bridge Growth Equity and later at Silversmith Capital Partners. Recognizing the investment opportunity in Small Cap Growth Equity, Jack joined Volition Capital upon graduation from Dartmouth in 2017.
