Will focuses on investment opportunities in software and technology-enabled services. He is responsible for sourcing and executing new investments, as well as working with current portfolio companies. Will was a part of the team that led Volition’s investment in GlobalTranz, and he sourced and helped execute the firm’s investment in Leads360.
Prior to joining Volition in 2010, Will spent three years as an investment banking analyst in the M&A and Technology Services groups at Raymond James & Associates advising middle-market companies on M&A transactions and private capital raises.
Will earned a Bachelor of Science degree with dual Concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

On most weekends and every holiday during Will's younger years, his grandparents would join his immediate family for dinner. It was there that Will keenly listened to his grandfather discussing his experiences at JP Morgan, where he worked for almost 50 years.
"I remember being fascinated with his stories. He was a large part of JP Morgan's expansion into Asia, and his work helped numerous businesses flourish. The inspiration of his dynamic career was a major contributor to my curiosity regarding the world of finance."
After a few years, Will's curiosity about finance bloomed into outright interest, and in turn he chose to enroll in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown Univeristy. There, Will immediately became involved with the Georgetown University Alumni & Student Federal Credit Union, the nation's largest entirely student run bank, and played on the Hoyas' nationally touted rugby club, both of which helped round out a great academic experience at Georgetown. Then after four years of building and refining sound corporate finance and investing skills, Will graduated in May 2007 with a dual degree in Finance and Marketing.
Shortly after graduating, Will began working with an M&A focused boutique investment bank called Lane Berry in Boston. Throughout his tenure, Will primarily worked on M&A and private capital raise transactions in the technology sector, allowing him to pair his deep-rooted interest in finance with his inherent appreciation for technology. Lane Berry was subsequently acquired by Raymond James in May 2009, where Will continued to work until July 2010 before starting at Volition.
"I place extraordinary value on the skills I learned at Lane Berry / Raymond James. At times, it was a test of character and patience as every transaction seemed to freeze when the markets melted down in October 2008. Frustrations ran amuck and at times it seemed that valuations had sunk to such a low level that another deal could never get done. It was an unprecedented time to be in banking and though it was difficult, I appreciate that I witnessed such historical events unfolding."
In July 2010, Will joined Volition Capital as an associate, where he is responsible for identifying and developing technology-related growth equity opportunities across numerous sectors.

Volition professionals take great pride in their work and are constantly seeking ways to help portfolio companies achieve greatness."
Will enjoys traveling, playing golf and occasionally heading home to Long Island, New York to spend time with his family.
