Frank J. Fanzilli Jr. serves as a Corporate Director and advisor to technology companies, research firms and venture capitalists in the technology field. Frank is the former Global Chief Information Officer and Managing Director of Information Technology at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he retired in 2002. Frank remains very active in the technology industry, having served on many notable technology company boards and having been involved in a number of leading acquisitions, including PeopleSoft (acquired by Oracle), Avaya (acquired by Silverlake and TPG), and InterWoven (acquired by Autonomy), and a number of others.
Frank currently serves on the boards of CommVault (CVLT) and GFI Group (GFIG) as well as a number of private company boards, including Calypso and Asset Control, and the Linux Foundation, dedicated to the support and dissemination of open source software and development. In addition, Frank serves as an advisor to a number of firms in the Silicon Valley, including Allegis Capital, based in Palo Alto, where Frank is a Venture Partner.
