Fun Facts about Andy
- Andy is a huge history buff and an avid reader of non-fiction. He loves learning about the causes and pressures influencing major historical trends. He also enjoys learning about the people who influenced the direction of history and those who often faced horrifying decisions and challenges as they found themselves in the middle of historical events (he’s always willing to talk about his favorite books – just ask!)
- He’s always been a big sports fan, particularly of the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. In fact, one of the primary reasons for Andy moving to Boston was sports. (Fun fact – he’s witnessed TWO baseball no-hitters in person).
- Andy loves nature and being outdoors, including boating, hiking, skiing, and kayaking.
- His wife was born in Cuba and is writing a book about her family’s experiences living during the Cuban Revolution, immigrating to the US, and then assimilating into American culture.
“As the person behind the scenes, I am actively involved in every investment we make here at Volition. I have the privilege of seeing the big picture. Each partner has their own style, but as a firm, we do what we say we do – and that’s unique in this industry.”
