Jake joined Volition in 2020 and is now a Senior Associate on the software team. He focuses on investments and software and technology enabled services.


  • Prior to joining Volition, Jake worked as an investment banking analyst at Cowen and Company. He worked in Capital Markets, covering technology, healthcare, and SPACs. 

  • He received his B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Bowdoin College, where he was a Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholar.

  • He walked onto the Varsity Baseball team at Bowdoin and started the school’s poker club. 

FUN FACTS About Jake

  • Jake grew up in the Bronx but is a die-hard Red Sox fan.

  • He has hiked all 46 high peaks in Adirondack Park. 

  • Kendrick Lamar was his most played artist of the decade. 

  • He rarely loses a ping pong match. But, Sean Cantwell is better than Jake at ping pong.
