Simon Kushkov joined Volition in 2026 as an analyst.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Prior to joining Volition Capital, Simon interned at JPMorgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank.
- Simon spent over a year in venture capital at Alumni Ventures, evaluating high-growth startups under Ron Levin.
- Simon graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics, concentrating in Finance and Strategic Management. At Penn, he served as the captain of the Varsity Fencing Team, earning multiple NCAA All-American honors and All-Ivy First team finishes.
FUN FACTS ABOUT SIMON
- Simon is the eldest of four sons.
- He is originally from Ukraine and moved to Massachusetts at 8 years old.
- Simon was invited as a candidate for the US National Fencing team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
- Simon and his father opened a fencing club called Dynamo Fencing Center, in Newton, Massachusetts.
