Meet Kyle Howard-Johnson

Kyle joined Volition in the winter of 2024 and works on the Volition Capital Software team.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Before joining Volition, Kyle was with Catalyst Investors, a New York-based growth equity firm investing in B2B technology companies. His prior investment experience includes Effectual, EDB, Rivet and Sevaro. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at AGC Partners, a boutique technology firm in Boston.
  • Kyle graduated cum laude from Tufts University, earning a BA in Quantitative Economics
FUN FACTS ABOUT KYLE
  • On the weekends he and his wife can be found doing the WSJ or NYT crossword puzzles, but puzzles from earlier in the week so they have a chance at completing them.
  • He played lacrosse in college, winning two national championships, but now he turns to golf as his competitive outlet, playing as much as living in Boston will allow.
  • Despite spending most of his childhood in New Jersey, he was raised and remains an avid Boston sports fan.
  • His favorite movie is “Good Will Hunting”, but if he’s looking for something funny his go to is “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, which he has been known to quote (probably too frequently).
