JazzHR software helps customers source talent, screen and interview applicants, extend offers to candidates, onboard new hires, and analyze historical hiring data.

It’s Marketplace Monday! ⭐ We’re thrilled to highlight @CVLibrary from our extensive partner network. CV-Library is the UK’s largest #CVdatabase, with over 18 million unique candidates. Learn more: https://t.co/AS1OD4Ashv

JazzHR, offers a powerful, user-friendly and affordable ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and recruiting software. JazzHR replaces manual hiring processes like using email and spreadsheets with an intuitive ATS that helps recruiters and hiring managers build a scalable recruiting process that sources more qualified candidates, faster.

The Company’s innovative platform, scalable collaboration tools and real-time analytics have been chosen by over 5,000 growing businesses that now recruit smart and reduce their company’s time-to-performance.

Launched in 2009 as the Resumator, the Company saw an opportunity in the market to disrupt the practice of “Inbox Recruiting” that was typically used by small and medium-sized businesses whose needs were not being served by traditional, enterprise-focused Human Capital Management (HCM) vendors.

JazzHR has seen rapid adoption of its ATS by small and medium-sized businesses that are looking to improve talent acquisition efforts without the significant associated overhead cost.

In 2014, Volition Capital invested in JazzHR to fuel customer acquisition and product expansion.

The recruiting and hiring process is generally a time-consuming and cumbersome process. Hiring managers have to attract qualified talent, screen and review many resumes, coordinate interviews amongst a group of colleagues, gather feedback on candidates, and process offers and rejections. In addition, ensuring that the best candidates for an open position are hired can be equally as challenging.

As larger businesses turn to technology to help facilitate these processes, the SMB segment remained underserved.

Enter JazzHR –

Jazz offered a competitively priced, web-based applicant tracking system specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses. The solution replaced the commonly used method of “inbox recruiting” which is inefficient and difficult to scale. Customers leverage JazzHR to increase the efficiency of their hiring processes and to gain broader access to high-quality talent.

Volition Managing Partner, Sean Cantwell, recalls, “The team at JazzHR did a remarkable job of listening to their customers and building value through product enhancements, and integrations into leading HRIS systems, job board sites, and other third-party technologies so the customer can easily exchange data across multiple applications. This focus on customer success enabled JazzHR to continue a strong growth trajectory in a capital-efficient manner while stealing market share from competitors.”

Today, JazzHR is considered one of the best hiring platforms for emerging and fast-growth businesses.

JazzHR on Working With Volition

Pete Lamson, CEO of JazzHR is a big advocate of collaborative partnership when it comes to investor relationships.

Volition has been a fantastic investment partner. There’s a recognition and understanding that building a business is hard. They are not the type of investors that will come into the board room, pound their fists and demand results. They push me when pushing is needed, but, importantly, they’ll work with me to get there. It’s not one sided.
