Meet Steve Achatz
Steve joined Volition in the spring of 2024 and works on the Volition Capital Internet & Consumer team.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Prior to joining Volition, Steve was an investment professional at OpenView and Great Hill Partners. His investments have included Bombas, Storyblocks, Second Nature, and Chargeflow.
- Steve began his career in consulting where he advised corporate and private equity clients on growth strategy, M&A, and capital markets.
- Steve received an MBA from Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar, and graduated summa cum laude from Babson College with a BS in Finance.
FUN FACTS ABOUT STEVE
- He’s an instrument-rated pilot who has been flying since he was 15.
- He has a (sometimes frustrating) love of DIY automotive repair, with a penchant for cheap, needy cars that are always is various stages of disrepair.
- He’s a husband and proud father of two young kids
